Fußnoten:Abstract: In his Cedrus (1201), Boncompagno da Signa gives an original point of view on the Statuti, by underlining their rhetorical deficit, due second him to the lack of culture of their redactors. Reading this comment, we are led to ask the following question: was there a process of "rhetorization" of the Italian communal Statuti after 1200? Some methodological proposals are presented (survey of rhythmical frequencies, analysis of preambles and micro-preambles).
